The 2006 Circle of Art - a Grand Success
Through the collaborative efforts of generous artists and bidders, the 2006 Circle of Art silent art auction raised $15,000 for Food Gatherers. Way to go!!! Saline Picture Frame is grateful for the enthusiastic support from not only the Saline community, but the Southeast Michigan community at large, as well as the online community of art collectors and hunger relief supporters.
A big thank-you goes to the 222 artists who donated 389 pieces of art, ranging in media from painting and drawing to glass, clay, jewelry and beyond. According to Eileen Spring, Director of Food Gatherers, the money raised will allow Food Gatherers to deliver 195 meals a day for the next year!
