 Environmentally Friendly Frames

We have been increasingly concerned about the sources of the framing materials we use. In this age of globalization the chain between the customer and the producer is longer and more tangled.

We have spent a good deal of time recently talking to our vendors, visiting their facilities and learning about their sources and practices. Our goal is to assemble a selection of responsibly manufactured frames and framing materials.

We are bundling these as our "Green Line"  Our criteria is for products that are made from sustainably harvested wood species in plants that use responsible manufacturing practices. Defining a  "green" product can have some gray area.  Our goal is to seek out  environmentally friendly products, provide as much information about them as possible and to encourage our suppliers to do the same.  We would love to hear from you with any concerns, questions or suggestion.
